Bougie Brunette Orchard Reveal
MEET MY NEW TREE FRIENDS
Darlings, I have the sweetest announcement! I'm officially the proud owner of a delightful little orchard, tucked charmingly into my tiny postage-stamp backyard. Yes, even suburban bougie babes can have their orchard dreams come true!
Let me introduce you to the chic new additions to our garden family:
🍑 Tender – The Contender Peach
Meet Tender, my first peachy friend, who promises sweet, juicy peaches perfect for summer salads, pies, and late-afternoon snacks. Contender peaches are known for their vibrant, juicy flesh and excellent flavor, making them perfect for fresh eating and baking alike.
🍑 Elberta (Ellie) – The Elberta July Peach
Next, we have Ellie—formally known as Elberta. She's our sophisticated peach princess, bringing luscious July peaches that'll perfectly complement brunch mimosas and summer soirees. Elberta peaches are renowned for their sweet taste, juicy texture, and aromatic fragrance, ideal for canning, pies, or fresh eating.
🍏 Mr. Apple – Granny Smith Apple
Of course, Mr. Apple, my beloved Granny Smith tree, continues to delight each autumn with crisp, tart apples ideal for baking, snacking, or adding to a bougie charcuterie board. Granny Smith apples are famously firm, tart, and perfect for pies and sauces due to their distinctive tartness and crisp texture.
🍒 Miss Regina – Regina Cherry
Charming and regal, Miss Regina has joined us to add a touch of elegance and sweetness with her succulent cherries. Regina cherries produce large, firm fruits that are sweet yet slightly tart, making them excellent for fresh eating, preserves, and baking.
🍒 Chandler – Bing Cherry
And lastly, Chandler rounds out the orchard squad with classic Bing cherries. Sweet, stylish, and destined for luxurious jams, preserves, or simply savoring straight from the tree. Bing cherries are famously dark, sweet, and juicy, ideal for fresh eating, desserts, and gourmet preserves.
Each of these delightful trees is thoughtfully spaced about 11 feet apart, gracefully flanking our cozy side yard. It's proof you don’t need expansive acreage to cultivate your orchard dreams—just a touch of creativity and a sprinkle of determination!
Also, let’s not forget Monsieur Olivier, my beloved indoor Arbequina Olive Tree who, though not bearing fruit yet, remains an impeccable listener and elegant presence. As I shared in my previous blog post, chatting with your plants can truly foster their growth—and Olivier certainly enjoys our daily conversations!
Welcome to my petite suburban orchard, loves! Stay tuned for updates as these delightful tree friends grow and thrive. Who else is feeling inspired to add a little orchard elegance to their backyard?
